Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor Repaired

A Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor turned on and than immediately shut off. The power supply capacitors checked out fine and the secondary power supply voltaged were all correct. I checked the output voltages wave form pattern on a scope and it was as straight as an arrow. I proceded to checked the high voltage transformers with the ring tester and they also were in good condition. The problem found was in the ballast capacitors. Two two 12j 3kv jnc were shorted and replaced with a higher 6 kv capacitor. Two N3 3kv sec ceramic capacitors tested fine but appeared slightly burt so I replaced them with two identicle spares I had available.
The monitor was tested and worked good .

The only place that I was able to get 6kv replacement capacitors was from Digikey.com
