Gateway Ballast Capacitors
Hello Folks,
I am working on a Gateway monitor that has four burnt ballast capacitors located on the inverter part of the board. There are two 12j 3kv jnc and two N3 3kv sec. I am having difficulties locating replacements. I was also thinking since the original capacitors burnt maybe I should replace them with 6kv capacitors. Please let me know your thoughts. If anyone had any experience with these capacitors please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. The high voltage transformers check out good and so did the rest of the inverter part of the board.
Thanks
Vic
