Samsung 46 LCD TV Model LN-T4042HS Repaired

Hello,
A friend of mine complained that his Samsung LCD TV would no longer turn on. He did say that prior to not turning on at all he noticed that it took longer and longer to finally start up. He also stated that during the start up attempt he heard a relay rapidly kicking on and off.

I opened up the TV and found four 10v 1000uF 105C capacitors on the secondary side of the power supply located at CM 817, CM 811, CM 812, AND CS 806 with high ESR readings. I also found one 25v 220 uF 105C capacitor on the secondary side located at CS 809 with a slightly high ESR reading. I replaced the first four capacitors with 16v 1000uF 105C capacitors and the final one with a 25v 220uF 105c capacitor. The rest of the power supply checked good.

I put everything back together and tested the TV. It started right up. I continued to check it's operation for several more days. My friend has since picked up the TV and says it's been working as good as new.
