Insignia LCD TV Model NS-LTDVD Repaired
Hello Folks,
I had a Insignia LCD TV Model NS-LTDVD that did not power on (no LED indication). Upon disassembly and visual inspection I found the power IC destroyed beyond recognition. Further investigation I found the Power FET shorted which most likely caused the destruction of the Power IC. I removed both components and checked the rest of the components near the Power IC. Nothing else appeared to be damaged. Through some research I was able to locate the exact Power IC from a on-Line electronic company by the name of AVNET. There WEB site is https://avnetexpress.avnet.com. The supplier part number is NCP1230D65R2G and the AVNET part number is NCP1230D65R2G/BKN. I could not locate the original Power FET but found an exact duplicate at Mouser Electronics. There WEB site is www.mouser.com. The duplicate FET is manufactured by Fairchild part number FDPF10N60NZ. The Mouser part number is 512-FDPF10N60NZ. After installing the replacement parts the TV came back to like and is working correctly.
Hope this will be a help to somebody.
Thanks
